Lots of foyer ideas that I have saved through the
years. They are all so different but I really can't decide
whether I like the more modern ones or the traditional
ones. I do think that there should be one element of surprise
when you enter a home, like a funky piece of art or statue...
or a fantastic rug. Something that makes you intrigued to
see the rest of the house, (unless you don't like visitors.)
So many beautiful possibilities! I love your idea of an element of surprise to greet visitors. We have a large-scaled table in our foyer in the shape of a bull and it's one of my favorite pieces.
