I have not been in the mood to blog lately.
I think I have just been overwhelmed with
watching such tragedy. Then I always question
myself after I post pictures of pretty rooms and
think how superficial that looks when
people are dealing with such horrid conditions.
So I need a little time to re-group.
Though I really enjoy reading other peoples blogs
because it does take my mind off of things for a
bit. So I guess I will start blogging again just as soon
as I am inspired...which leads me to....
My husband and I, and our nine year old, went and saw
the documentary "I Am" last night
and WOW. Everyone in the world should see this.
They should show it in schools to kids (probably jr high and up,
our daughter was a little too young to understand all of it)
and every adult should go see this movie. It was SO
inspiring and interesting. The trailer doesn't do it justice,
but trust me and go see this film. Actually I don't know
if it is playing in other parts of the country besides L.A. and
New York right now but I am sure it will hit other cities soon.

I know most of the wonderful bloggers out there are
giving links on ways to help Japan but here is one
I found on Elle Decor that gives you a variety of
options... Give if you can,
Much Love,
Tia

  1. thanks so much for the link to the documentary. I'm at that state in my life when I cry while watching anything like that trailer - not from sadness, just from full emotions I think - I like to thank my hormones for that! We just bought tickets for a Saturday afternoon matinee with the kids. My 13 year old is a big Ace Ventura fan, so that should hook him at the beginning...

  2. I will have to check out that movie...I had not heard of it before. I know how you feel with the tragic state of what is happening in Japan and other places in the world, but sometimes it seems that blogging is a bit of an escape from the harsh reality! Even though the immense devastation can leave me feeling very uninspired too!
