My baby is turning 9 this weekend and guess
what she wanted for her bday? yes, a new
"big girl room." Apparently the purple
was too babyish and her room wasn't as cool
as her older sisters. Well, excuse me, does she
know that she is only turning 9 and not 15? She has
been asking me to change up her room for a while now
so the timing is perfect. Both my daughters used to share
her room so I had two twin beds in there, but now she
will be getting a bigger bed. She has been right there from
the start with picking out her fabric for her bed, her wall color
which after many attempts by me to do a color, has ended up going
with white (like her sisters.) The ceiling is going to be the china blue
color that you see in the top photo. I will post some pics when
it is done. I am sure you all are sick of seeing the many different
transformations of my home through the years, but with a growing family,
and 11 years under my belt, this house has been through all the growing
pains/joys of my family, not to mention this is what I do for a living ;)
Sick of seeing the evolution of your home? Hardly.
ReplyDeleteHappiest of birthdays to your babe. It sounds like our kiddos are similar ages. I have a nine-year-old son. She's not the soccer dynamo, is she? My middle one is a soccer fanatic.
Have a wonderful weekend decorating! Excited to see the big reveal.
How could we possibly get tired of seeing your transformations! Please post pics of the room when you're done.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the pics.
ReplyDeleteWhen do we get to see the pics of the Lost actor neighbor's house? Dying to see that.
Not sick of it at all. I love seeing the transformations of your space! Your style is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteVery exciting!!!
