This is our dog Cassius. Yes, named after the greatest...
Cassius Clay. We rescued him Valentines Day this year
after we had to put two of our old dogs to sleep.
He is the sweetest little lover but so destructive, but he is only
one years old.
My back yard is trashed. He has dug up holes everywhere,
chewed every piece of outdoor furniture, chewed every sunbrella pillow, and
even the corners of my beautiful wood teak tables. Along the pool,
we had this beautiful hedge and he chewed it down so now there is just stubs.
There is no grass left in my back yard, just dirt.
I know it is because he is bored. I just can't walk him EVERY DAY! We have another
dog and they play together all day, wrestle, and run free, and the girls love them and
play with them a lot so I know he is getting some entertainment.
Last week, while we were at Disneyland for the day, Cassius figured out how to
jump up on my husbands office door, push down the lever and let himself in.
Well....when we got home, all my husbands work papers were chewed in a million
pieces and scattered all over the back yard.
My husband had a tantrum, yes, like the ones 4 year olds have.
If you can imagine the curse words that came out of him, i heard phrases
i didn't know were even possible.
So, we have a dog trainer coming today...and tomorrow.
And we might have to make a extra room for this trainer to
come live with us.
