my heart skips a beat when I look at these images.
I often wonder what Carolyn Bissette would be like now.
She was such a beauty and a style icon. I remember being
pregnant with my first daughter when she passed away and
i was so struck with sadness. I have had these images saved on my
computer for a while so I thought I would share them.
Isn't she just stunning?

a cooler table for Thanksgiving

I was out and about this week and I made a
stop into American Rag which is my fave
and really loved these blue and white
dishes...I know blue and white has been on
my mind lately so maybe I will wrap it up
with purchasing these plates.

I also loved these stackable Morrocan silver trays,
just great for about anything...they even would look great
on a desk with papers on top.

these looked great with my blue and white plates...

I had to throw some pink in there, and we
can drool over these Porthault place mats.

love the gold accents, even mixed with
all the silver.

and to finish it all off...a bunch of julip vases filled
with random greens from your garden.
I am not doing Thanksgiving at my house this year
anyways...we are going to the in-laws but I am not a
huge fan of brown and orange decorations, so this was
a lot cooler. Have a wonderful weekend my dears!!

a horsey bathroom

I really love this bathroom, maybe it is just the
horse in the window, no it is the stools under the sink,
or maybe it's that little Oly table?

Hello Beautiful!

towels from heaven.

Pillows will be coming soon...

they even make little beach towel bags that are to
die for, even whitney has one.

below is there store in Beverly Hills, if i was an
employee I would sleep there over night on the floor,
covered in towels.

I used to want to die wrapped in a Missoni blanket, or even a
towel would do...but I think I am going to rewrite my will
and instead have one of these beautiful Fresco towels covering my
whole body from head to toe. Have you ever seen anything
so beautiful? I have a thing for antique rugs so this is just
too darn good.

my new addition

Although it wasn't from the flea market,
I added to my blue and white. It is amazing
how something so small can make me smile
so big! I am so in love.

Thank you

I guess Redbook picks a dream room every month for their
mag... I designed this Del Mar beach home a couple years back,
it was a lovely project! Thanks Redbook!

Blue and White weekend

This is where I keep all my tea in my kitchen, but I feel like I
need to increase my blue and white china collection
(even though some of these are not real china... and this
picture sucks.)

So, I am going to try to hit up the Rose Bowl
Flea market this weekend for a healthy dose
of some blue and white china. I find the flea market
extremely therapeutic. Even though whenever
I am looking for something it always seems that I can't find it that
weekend but then any other time I go and I am not looking
for what I wanted , I find an abundance of what I wanted the
time before. Does that even make sense?

I always go to the Pasadena flea market with my
best friend from high school, Annah. We have this tradition that
every time we go, we "theme" the day with an item that we see too much of
on that particular day. Once it is was ugly clown oil portraits, once it was guitars, once it was scary old dolls and one time it was those glass grapes from the 60's...our random list goes
on and on...and by the end we are cracking up every time see the theme item of
the day. It's a lot funnier than it sounds...

Whatever you chose to do, have a lovely weekend!
xx Tia
