So last night I had a little jeans party at my house, it was pure madness.
After drowning in jeans, I though I would update my wardrobe with some
J.Crew staples, shopping online is way to easy...and dangerous.
an Ugg alternative for the morning time school drop off
a little glam for my slouchy outfits
that shirt has my name written all over it.
i cant decide if i like the black or cream color better...
i will live in these pants...
shorts with tights seems to be the style, I know it is true because
my 10 year is rockin this look.
a little bit of color is always nice...
dying for these boots, a must have.
So that is it, not too crazy right?

We put up our Halloween decorations this weekend,
we usually put them up earlier but we have had so much
rain in the past 2 weeks that I kept putting it off .
The kids love all the decorations but I cant wait to take them down
the second Halloween is over, and that goes the same for all holidays,
I am not a seasonal decorations gal. All that stuff out in the front of
the house looks so junky to me, but I do it anyways...
We had our street fair this weekend and I live walking distance (in L.A. walking distance is no more than a quarter of a mile) to
the coolest street in L.A. , Larchmont Village.
It is the heart of Hancock Park and it is made up of lovely little restaurants, boutiques,
coffee shops, basically you name it and it is on Larchmont.
Some of the buildings date back to the 20's and are just beautiful.
this is not really a library...it is a great clothing boutique
my kids take this train to school every morning (just kidding)
this was set up for the Fair and no matter how old you are
it is still fun, i think.
such great families live in my hood,
I am so lucky...
you can see the Hollywood sign in
the distance (that white strip on the mountain
to the left of the stop sign)
Hope you all had a fun weekend!

This is the Long Island vacation home of Cosima von Bulow
Pavoncelli designed by Markham Roberts.
I love the mixture of beauty, comfort, and color!
I am totally digging the green, pink, and blue palate.
check it out in the new Town and Country!
We have our annual street fair this weekend so there
is lots of excitement around here! Have a beautiful weekend!

I thought I would leave you with some pretty hump day
pictures. Don't you feel like this is when the year starts
to get a little crazy? Right around Halloween, the kids class parties
start, (why is there a party for every holiday and enough food to
feed all of California?)then Thanksgiving, then holiday maddness...
ok, ok, sorry...i will just leave you with these pretty pics.

I think I love these images because they all look either
really relaxed, or tailored, but comfy tailored.
Makes me want to take a trip to Europe...
please forgive me I cant remember where I found the first
image of the woman in the leopard dress! I would love to
know so if anyone can clue me in I would love to give credit
for that image!
