Aerin Lauder Friday

I thought we could kick off the weekend with a little bit of Aerin Lauder.
I am always intrigued by her homes ( New york and Hamptons) and I can look at them over and over without ever getting tired of them. So enjoy this beauty and have a wonderful weekend!
On another note: I am so happy to have so many new readers in the blog world...thank you for welcoming me with open arms!xo

Too beautiful to eat

Our friends came over for dinner the other night and
brought us the most beautiful box of macarons...they were so beautiful and delicious... i just wanted to look at them (see picture below) and they were all from Bottega Louie in downtown L.A..

this picture was taken before my girls got their hands on them...

check out the boxes that they come beautiful.

Go eat outside

The evenings are so beautiful here in L.A. and my family and i have been eating dinner outside this whole week. I gotta tell you, it is so enjoyable to eat our last meal of the day outside, yes, it takes a little bit more work shuffling the plates, food and drinks outside but we end up sitting longer as a family which is worth it! the girls love it and the dogs love cleaning up the leftover pieces that have fallen on the ground! so tonight, go eat outside!

Isabel Marant

Is my favorite designer...maybe because most
of my wardrobe consists of black or gray?
My home is very colorful but my uniform isn't.
kinda weird now that i think about it.

Hump Day Lovliness

A mother moment

so happy to have my girl back from sleep away camp...the house was very quiet without her...

cannot wait for this one to come out

available in september...

a little bit of chair love

I have a little bit of an infatuation with chairs. Unfortunately, I have no more room for them in my house.

Kim McCarty

One of my favorite artists is Kim McCarty, and I just found out that her work will be up at M & B Gallery in L.A. . I love portrait artists, I could fill my whole house with them!
Her watercolors are inspired by a palette of acid yellows, greens and browns and they are truly
amazing. I think I first spotted her work a few years ago at an Idea House here in L.A. and i took a picture of it (the photo above) because it reminded me of my daughter and i thought i had to have this painting!

black base boards

I am really diggin the black base boards in this gorgeous hallway!
The lights are kinda fun too, especially if you are a kid riding your big wheel through there at night!

Loren Stewart Jewelry

You have to check out this amazing jewelry...designed by these three lovely ladies!
Yes, I have to admit that one of these girls is my bestie, but this line of jewelry is stunning! They make mostly these big chunky rings and fabulous stud earings, they are kind of a little punk rock meets modern luxury. Just gorgeous pieces that are timeless...and yes, it is all the real and diamonds and rubies....oh my!
You have to stay tuned because i am going to feature the home of one of these girls on my blog and you will be more than amazed how chic it is!
If you want to check them out, click on their tag on my sponsor roll!
