This is where I keep all my tea in my kitchen, but I feel like I
need to increase my blue and white china collection
(even though some of these are not real china... and this
picture sucks.)
So, I am going to try to hit up the Rose Bowl
Flea market this weekend for a healthy dose
of some blue and white china. I find the flea market
extremely therapeutic. Even though whenever
I am looking for something it always seems that I can't find it that
weekend but then any other time I go and I am not looking
for what I wanted , I find an abundance of what I wanted the
time before. Does that even make sense?
I always go to the Pasadena flea market with my
best friend from high school, Annah. We have this tradition that
every time we go, we "theme" the day with an item that we see too much of
on that particular day. Once it is was ugly clown oil portraits, once it was guitars, once it was scary old dolls and one time it was those glass grapes from the 60's...our random list goes
on and on...and by the end we are cracking up every time see the theme item of
the day. It's a lot funnier than it sounds...

Whatever you chose to do, have a lovely weekend!
xx Tia
It looks elegant wherever you leave it. So pretty! Enjoy a lovely day, Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteLOVING that second to last photo! Love a touch of blue & white!
ReplyDeleteThe very first decorative item I ever bought for myself was a blue & white vase when I was 16 (i'm 40 now)! I've used it everywhere in my homes. I love blue & white with brown and or black....
ReplyDeleteI love you xoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI think that sounds like a wonderful time. From this point on I will never go to a flea market without a "theme of the day item."
