Oh doll!

To celebrate Fashion's Night Out, Barneys New York commissioned
a Brooklyn-based artist named Andrew Yang to make these rag dolls
of Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington (of Vogue.) They will be auctioned
off on Charity Buzz beginning yesterday, the proceeds will benefit The New York City
Aids Fund. I absolutely love them, look at their outfits!

As a little girl, I always loved dolls. My girls are not
so into dolls which kinda bummed be out at first because
i always wanted to buy them dolls and now I realize I just
really wanted to buy them for me.
My little one wanted to learn how to sew this summer
so we went down to the fabric store to get ideas. So I admit, I probably
talked her into making a doll which I ended up sewing for an hour.
This was the end result, she actually has been sleeping with it all summer, next
to her other 5,000 stuffed animals in her bed.
