these boots were made for puddles

I cant believe I was school shopping already with my girls in the beginning of august! it seems like school is starting earlier and earlier, though my younger daughter goes to public school and her school is starting later and later because of well, you know, cuts and more cuts. I couldn't help to notice that all the fall clothing were hanging beautifully on the racks, and all the boots were in waiting for hungry shoppers to be the first for fall! The weather hasn't even been hot here in L.A. (i am not complaining) and Fall is everywhere...and i was kinda bummed because it means summer is almost over and it seems like it just started. I got a kick out of all the Hunter boots that were on display , it doesn't ever rain here and they were stocked like there was going to be a flood in the next day or so. I am a flip-flop kinda of gal, and when the weather is lower than 65 degrees, i run and get my Uggs. Come to think of it, there are 2 seasons in LA. , flip flop season and Ugg season, but never Hunter boot season.

  1. Happy to have just found your blog, as I've been a fan of your work since the Cottage Living spread. Have to say I agree with the 2 seasons idea! I have wanted Hunter boots but really would never use them here! It's just flip flops and uggs for me too. :)
