Being an interior designer is wonderful. But there is always something that I want to redo in my house no matter how much I love it. My home is my little lab, and I am constantly re-painting, changing the furniture around, re-covering, adding new pillows, moving around the art work, and swapping out rugs. I love the thrill of new looks and new ideas , it is what makes my work so great and exciting. I love when I start a new project, I am like a kid in a candy store with so many different ideas but somehow it all pulls together and then presto, fabulous!!
When my house was shot for Cottage Living back in 2006 my style was so different. When I look back I do love the pictures (anything professionally shot looks amazing) but some of the details make me cringe. But I guess that is part of life, (I would never wear some of the things I wore in 2007 either!)
